Terms governing Coverage Insurance Agency's SMS / text messaging program. Last updated: May 2026.

Program description

Coverage Insurance Agency, Inc. ("Coverage," "we," "us," or "our") operates an SMS (text message) program for clients and prospective clients who have provided express written consent at our website contact form, our floating quote widget, or by other written means. By providing consent, you agree to these SMS Terms & Conditions.

Message types

Our SMS program may deliver the following categories of messages from Coverage Insurance Agency to you:

Message frequency

Message frequency varies based on your engagement with Coverage. Service messages are sent on an as-needed basis tied to your quote, policy, or service activity. If you opt in to marketing, you may receive up to four (4) marketing messages per month, in addition to service messages.

Message and data rates

Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier may charge you for incoming and outgoing SMS messages. Coverage Insurance Agency does not charge for SMS messages; any fees are imposed by your carrier and governed by your wireless plan. Contact your carrier for pricing details.

How to opt out

You may cancel the SMS service at any time. To opt out, reply STOP to any message you receive from us. After you reply STOP, we will send you a confirmation message and you will not receive any additional messages, unless you re-enroll. If you change your mind and want to receive messages again, sign up the same way you did originally or contact us directly.

Supported carriers

Coverage SMS messages are supported across all major U.S. wireless carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, Boost Mobile, Cricket Wireless, MetroPCS, U.S. Cellular, Virgin Mobile, and most regional carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Phone number requirement

You must be the account holder of the mobile phone number you provide, or have the account holder's permission to enroll the number, and you must be at least 18 years of age or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian. You agree to notify Coverage Insurance Agency promptly if you change your mobile phone number or transfer your number to a new account.

Privacy

We collect, use, and share your phone number and SMS engagement data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share your mobile information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Information sharing is limited to subcontractors and service providers (such as our SMS platform vendor) that support the delivery of the messaging program, and is not shared for any other purpose.

Changes to these terms

Coverage Insurance Agency may revise these SMS Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated to you at the next regular service message, and will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
