Walk-ins are welcome during business hours, though we recommend scheduling an appointment so your dedicated agent has time set aside specifically for you. After-hours quote requests and inquiries submitted through any form on this site are routed to a manager in real time.

Our Miami Lakes office serves families and businesses across Florida, with primary focus on Miami-Dade County including Miami Lakes, Hialeah, Hialeah Gardens, Doral, Miami Gardens, Opa-locka, and the surrounding cities. We also write policies for clients in Broward and Palm Beach counties. Out-of-county clients are typically handled by phone or Zoom, with the same one-to-one service.

Every team member at Coverage Insurance Agency conducts business in both English and Spanish. The full website is available in Spanish at mycoverageins.com/es, and all quotes, policy explanations, and ongoing service can be handled in either language. We are a member of LAAIA (the Latin American Association of Insurance Agencies) and proudly serve our Spanish-speaking community.

What to Expect

From your first call to a bound policy.

1. The first conversation

When you call (305) 239-8833 or submit a form, you reach a real agent at Coverage, not a national call center. The first conversation is a short discovery: what are you looking to insure, what coverage do you have today, and what concerns brought you to us. Most calls take 10 to 15 minutes.

2. The quote review

Your agent shops your situation across multiple A-rated carriers and prepares quotes. We then schedule a follow-up — in person at our Miami Lakes office, by phone, or on Zoom — to walk through the options together. You see every quote side by side, with clear explanations of what changes between them and why one might fit your situation better.

3. Binding the policy

Once you decide, we handle the paperwork, the carrier setup, and the binding. You receive your declarations page, your policy documents, and direct contact information for the agent who wrote the policy. From that day forward you have a person you can actually reach for service, renewals, claims questions, and policy changes.

Do I need an appointment?

Not required, but recommended. Walk-ins during office hours (Mon–Fri 9–6) are welcome, but scheduling an appointment guarantees an agent is available to focus on your situation rather than running between conversations.

How fast will I hear back?

Quote requests submitted during business hours are typically returned the same day, often within an hour or two. After-hours submissions are responded to first thing the next business morning. Urgent items (active claims, immediate proof of insurance needs) should be called in directly to (305) 239-8833.

What information should I have ready?

For a personal quote: your address, driver's license number for any drivers, and the year/make/model of vehicles or details of the property to be insured. For a commercial quote: your business name, EIN or tax ID, payroll information (for workers comp), and a rough description of your operations. Don't worry about having everything upfront; we can walk you through it.

Can I get a quote without buying?

Yes. Quotes are free and there is no obligation to bind. Coverage Insurance Agency is an independent agency, which means we're not pressured to fit you into a single carrier's product. If our quotes are not the right fit for you, we'll tell you that directly.
